    In my master thesis I focus on the work of Italian director Roberto Minervini, known for his style at the edge between documentary and fiction. The aim of this work is to explore the method of directing, which from his second film “Low Tide” till his last one “Louisiana: The Other Side”, became progressively more oriented towards documentary observation. The aim is to analyze the construction of the relationship with his characters, the blocking during the scenes and the participation of them during the creative process of ongoing writing.
