Podnázev
Abstrakt
This thesis aims to explore the multifaceted approach to evoking historical reality in cinema through an examination of two seminal films, "The Color of Pomegranates" by Sergei Parajanov and "Andrei Rublev" by Andrei Tarkovsky. The films were created during the mid-late 1960s in the Soviet Union, a period marked by political flux. By scrutinizing how these films navigate the complexities of representing historical figures and events, we can uncover the interplay between socio-political contexts, artistic vision, and historical authenticity.
