Pain and pleasure is series of photographs as a study of human behavior in extreme situations. Moments when subject is ?naked?, without a ?mask?, in front of camera, moments when is hard to pretend. In today?s ?cruel? world, people are subjected to have more than one ?mask? for everyday activities, under the pressure of cruelty and hardness of society. Throughout the history, photographers were trying to capture real human emotions and spiritual values. Pain and pleasure is a series of portraits of people during massage. Mostly my friends and people I know, people who trust me in certain way. People I have portrait, I did not control in any way. I was trying to capture their expressions in primal physical functions. Expressions of pain and pleasure I have evoked in models were given by real feeling of pain and pleasure during the massage. Portraits were made in studio, familiar environment for me, away from everyday distractions. Me as a photographer did not communicate with them or distract them in any way and I was giving the best to capture decisive moment.
