| Abstrakt | Má bakalářská práce s názvem, Kdo je mim? prozkoumává téma pantomimy a poukazuje na definice pojmu pantomima a mim z pohledu divadelních historiků, teoretiků a mimů 20. a 21. století v Evropě. Tato práce si nedává za cíl podat historický přehled pantomimy, ale prozkoumat tento pojem, jak na něj mnou vybraní představitelé nahlížejí a jak odpovídají na otázku, kdo je mim, ať už z pohledu praktika, teoretika nebo historika. Na tuto otázku v závěru práce odpovídám metodou analýzy, syntézy, komparace a logické indukce, které používám v celé práci. Docházím k tomu, že pojem pantomima a mim se nedají uzavřít do jedné stručné definice, neboť jsou to pojmy, které jsou definovány svým kontextem a dobou. |
| Překlad abstraktu | My bachelor's thesis, Who is a Mime? explores the topic of pantomime and highlights the definitions of pantomime and mime from the perspective of theatre historians, theorists and mimes in 20th and 21st century Europe. This thesis does not aim to provide a historical overview of the pantomime, but to explore the concept, how my selected representatives view it and how they answer the question of who is a mime, whether from the perspective of a practitioner, theorist or historian. I answer this question at the end of the thesis using the methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison and logical induction that I use throughout the thesis. I conclude that the notion of pantomime and mime cannot be encapsulated in one succinct definition, as they are concepts that are defined by their context and time. |
