| Abstrakt | Among all the Sixth Generation of Chinese directors, Lou Ye is perhaps the most unique. Lou Ye has directed 10 feature films in the past thirty years. In this thesis, I have divided his career into three decades. Of all the films made by Lou Ye, I have chosen four of them to analyze, not only because these four films are the most well-known by the Chinese audience but also because they best represent the style of Lou Ye’s films. This thesis mainly focuses on the narrative characteristics and film technique in Lou Ye’s films and also addresses the contemporary meaning of Lou Ye’s works and his influence on the new generation of Chinese directors. |
| Překlad abstraktu | Mezi všemi šestou generací čínských režisérů je Lou Ye možná nejunikátnější. Lou Ye režíroval za posledních třicet let 10 celovečerních filmů. V této práci jsem jeho kariéru rozdělil do tří desetiletí. Vybral jsem ze všech filmů natočených Loua Yeho k analýze čtyři z nich, nejen proto, že tyto čtyři filmy jsou čínskému publiku nejznámější, ale také proto, že nejlépe reprezentují jeho styl filmařství. Tato práce se zaměřuje především na narativní charakteristiky a filmovou techniku ve filmech Loua Yeho a zabývá se také současným významem svém dílem a jeho vlivem na novou generaci čínských režisérů. |
